What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

It works, the formatting would need some work in real use. I just done a quick copy and paste so that I could delete it again after. I put it into the footer section of my estimates and it would be part of every estimate sent. The part where it says test would be where the job details are with...

What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

I've had a quick go on my phone and it may work. I will have a go on my PC later and see if I can post up what it would look like

What invoicing apps/softwares do you guys use?

How much space does your info take up on a standard A4 page? I use Powered Now and have my Ts and Cs as a seperare document with the 1st one referencing that accepting this price accepts the terms on page 2. But you can add a header and footer to all documents. I could do an experiment foe you...

Has anyone used the Quickfix Junction Box : QUICKFIX-JB 3 or QUICKFIX-JB 4

Yeah but its not as big (which has advantages and disadvantages) and its not maintenance free. I use both and all sorts of other ones for all different scenarios

Has anyone used the Quickfix Junction Box : QUICKFIX-JB 3 or QUICKFIX-JB 4

I have. They are nice, a fair amount of room. Just a bit limited as they only have room for the allocated Wagos inside so a circuit with a loop switched live or any extra cables won't fit. They are worth having in stock alongside other enclosures. Their best advantage over a grey Wago box is the...

    Quickwire New Product

Not necessarily, You could strip it the same with other tools i am sure but the tool keep the cores all straight and in line perfect to insert into the connecter. There are other cable strippers with the same form factor as the quickwire one, all the same just branded differently, they all...

How to change this light bulb?

Try pulling the white bezel straight down to seperate it from the black housing. There are some that are held in with a simple push in friction hold clip

Horizontal prescribed zone from switch to corner.

Why don't you lower the switch to the socket height? Or change both to meet in the middle?

    Fitting new downlights

This may be difficult to visualise, I usually do this with difficult ceilings like lathe and plaster but it may work in this scenario. I use a fitting such as the Ansell edge which has an open inside. Then you can hold the springs up and wrap some insulation tape around to keep the springs...

UK Wiring advice for a novice

As already said, its a shallow box. You can see the oval knock outs on the back and the fact the cable going up in the middle of the box. Almost definitely an old lightswitch so again as said, no neutral. Its not a brown, its black with dust on.

Are you replacing type AC RCD's with Type A?

Yes, I agree. I was just thinking what could/would i do. This is going to be something we will all have to deal with over the next few years

Are you replacing type AC RCD's with Type A?

You could always list it as a departure on the certificate. Not great but I think for a small job, the addition of a socket etc its okay, as long as you have offered the RCD change

    0.5mm T&E cable now available.

Problem with 0.5mm T+E, if the apprentice misses with their hammer when clipping it they would go straight through the cable. At least I know one that would.
