    Decent multifunctional tester

I use a megger 1721, I've also used a 1725. I don't particularly like the design of the leads, this is supplied by my company so I have no choice but it's a good bit of test kit..

    Issues with megger mft1720

If the leads are giving 0.4 or even -.2 that's higher than they should read. I'd expect about 0.1. Suggests that it needs to go back to get looked at by the calibration place if you've tried a new set of leads. Unless you try the above and it works

How to change this light bulb?

I'd have thought the Bezel should screw off with a quarter turn or similar, if this is just one light if it's not coming off you may have to replace. If there's another see if that has more play in the feed to it or try to see if the bezel comes of easier that the one you're currently trying to...

Couldn't the metal cabinets become live under a fault condition and if not bonded give some one a Zap? Especially if sockets are installed in them?

    Inspect and Test Question

Worth noting if you were completing an EICR on both these boards there would be a separate test sheet for each board and each sheet would have the supply characteristics at the top for you to fill in. so if you view it like that it will become more obvious. hope that helps.

Installing plug sockets in steel furniture.

All the metal units will indeed require Bonding. Not sure what others thoughts are but personally I in your installation documentation I feel you must insist any customers already have RCD type protection fitted supplying the power to any sockets fixed or fitted to your units.

Triton Martinique 8.5kw shower - low temperature issue

Has it been like this from installation? Ambient outside water temperatures effect it to a small degree but I'd get back whoever fitted it to take a look or call Triton up as they have service engineers.
