i wish i was jokin mate i only did my 17th last year even so thts still only 3 years worth of 17 edition, i couldnt beleave it when tony cable said last week of the change thy'll probley lower the disconnection times again by about 1 ohm lol , to be honest i think the arse as fell out of the electrical industry the only people tht are making the money these days are the training providers, when thy can charge 500 quid for regs update there makin 5000 a week for ten doin the course easy money if ya ask me lol as for gorden brown he wants to put a stop to cowboy traders doin work unregistered and unqualified, i think a protest is looming for all the money we have to payout to comply with the regulations:cool:

Mr Brown ran out of cash last year. He has now maxxed out all his credit cards as well.
I am not bothered about a possible 18th edition. This time next year I reckon that will be the least of my worries. This country will be a basket case on a par with the economy of Zimbabwae.

Possibly mate, but where do you see yourself working next year:confused:

or cleaning. I saw a cleaning job cleaing up second hand furniture for 15 quid an hour, coudn't believe it, really got me thinking

This is an electrician's forum. So sparking would be a good choice.

No need to be sarcastic, I was only trying to clarify what you were asking.

TBH I don't know. I run my own building firm so electrical is only part of my business.I am hoping that as I can cover most aspects of work I will be able to carry on. However as I see it the whole construction industry will be fubared by this time next year.Just have to soldier on:).
