I couldn't help it and went on to read the YT comments... is this modular kind system something new for you guys in the UK?
All of my sockets, switches, etc are modules held to a frame with screws and boy these are old, from the 80's most likely, and even older hard bakelite designs were the same. And I can make combinations up to 4 modules so you could have say 3 switches for different lights and a 16 amp socket all in one box.

Of course the plugs I use are like slim, unfused, unpolarised and 1/3 the size of those in the UK so that might be the cause why these aren't so popular over there.
