Well did 16 years in a press forge in maint department,Working on a range of stuff from forging presses upto 2500 Ton, Clip presses,Induction furnaces,frequancy converters,MCD machines(Magnetic Crack Detection) CNC's, building control panels from the small encloseures to large type 6ft*8ft for press control,Hydraulic systems and all the stuff in a busy production enviroment.
Finished at that place Feb 09 took redundancy then went subbing for a few months,Started at MOD doing installation on all mobile shelters ranging from explosive storage for Navy.Air flight refuelling stations,various types of field shelters pre deployment to iraq and afgan.ground equipment all assosiated with aircraft and helicopters and inspection and testing around the country at various bases.Laid off there Nov 10 and started with a local firm 1 week after finishing there doing installations and breakdowns and inspection and testing at commercial and industrial premises.
