Hi, I did a Mechanical & Craft Engineering Apprenticeship starting 1978 for 5yrs and received my City & Guilds certificates. Stayed in the Industrial repair trade for many yrs before getting out and now run a Boarding Kennels & Cattery. I do get sparkies in for the bigger jobs, but do many of the stuff I know I am able to do safely myself, and also have a retired Electrician who ran his own firm,as an advisor if I need some things pointing out.But occasionally, even he isn`t sure about some stuff anymore, hence joining the site-thanks
