I've looked and looked but cannot find these :

[ElectriciansForums.net] numbered tags for each core??

Does any one know where to get them... the small number tags that go over each core to clearly identify them?

Just go to the RS website and knock yourself out on cable marking.

Absolutely perfect Cossie! Thankyou.
city electrical factor usually stock them if not eddos etc.

ask them for numbers, or hellerman sleeve tool

ring up all the local places and ask if they stock hellerman sleeve tool, if they know what it is i guarantee they will probably have them on the shelf

farnel are good

make sure to either get french or german colour numbers and ferrules.

try not to mix them because it gets anoying when you have a lot of different sizes.

i cant remember which we use but from 0-4 is

black=0 brown=1 red=2 orange=3 yellow=4

makes it a lot easier to identify cables when you know the colours

I use a local electrical firm, Peak Electrical Supplies, they sell them in small bags, don't forget a nice separator box to put them all in, lol and a screwdriver is good for sliding them on, but if you are a real panel builder, you slide them one using fingers alone, lol Oh and don't forget to put them on the right way round...
