Just a quick one but how long does a NICEIC membership last ?
Joined in December last year but not accepted until March this year so couldn't practise under there banner until then
But just had an invoice for dec -dec for another 12 years membership
So my 1st year was for 9 months then ?
Any help would be appreciated

Sounds correct then?

What's the enrolment date on your cert,
Have they backdated to the date of application !!
It wouldn't be the first time its happened.
And yes it is a money pit.
Using them as a scheme provider for signing off under part P is about the only thing any of them are useful for IMHO.
And just because a company or the like is NICEIC registered doesn't mean the man on the tools is a time served electrician.
If it were me. I would want to see a JIB card from the guy doing the work or something along those lines.
Sorry I digress.

I think you should write to them and complain about the "length" of the first year........

But, you should read up what their paperwork says first!

NAPIT did not do that too me. Part of the reason I avoided nic was there -----poor customer service.

Mmmmm scheme providers...reassuringly expensive...bringing order,commonality and confidence since 2006...because your worth it...:conehead:
