Has anyone got a source for "pin plugs"?

I find "Uni-fix nailing plugs" - but at nearly £8 per 100 on Ebay! That's barmy when cheapo yellow plugs (just a teeny bit too big for clip nails) are 39p in Screwfix.

I used to have a box of yellow ones which worked a treat, but no idea of the brand, and all the yellow ones I find now are sized for ~ 3.5mm screws.

Yes I know I can yank out the nails and use a screw, and yes that's just great, but sometimes there are quicker ways..

use the yellow ones and shove in a bit of a cocktail stick before clipping.

never seen wooden plugs. can get wooden sockets though:

trust a taff to find a bargain. :1:

i have 7 b&q stores within 20 mile raDIUS. ONLY 1 HAS ANY IN STOCK.

well them stores are big and heavy, i imagine the postage would be astronomical.

The ones from b and q are no good for the small nails in the smaller clips. They don't work well for 1.5mm clips and vor satellite cable clips are useless. So it depends what you want them for. Dowel works for any clip.
