Pretty much as the title says - lots of us have opinions but seeing as BEAMA seem to have ruled out plastic CU's lets have a poll - so please add your vote:

No Charlie, I was trying to find something that even the hard of understanding could take in.

Such as those that need to google the word enclosure..

So what are your thoughts of a plastic consumer unit being located within a non combustible cupboard/cabinet/enclosure or whatever you wish to call it

Such as has been happening for decades? Don't really have any thoughts on the subject.
It wasn't me who classed a cupboard as an enclosure, just thought I'd remind you of that.
 
If a consumer unit is enclosed in a cupboard then by definition that cupboard is an enclosure..
Now if that cupboard is also non combustible then the consumer unit is located within a non combustible enclosure and therefore complies with the new regulation..
