Hello , thx again if you can educate me.

Have 12 x 1w (350mA) jcc decking lights. What size of driver do I need to power these.

i got a 12v 15w constant driver from wholesalers , which some work and some don't and some flash..

I've just realised they should be wired in series aswell, oooops

You need to know if the lights are constant current or constant voltage and get the appropriate driver.
Since they are 350mA by your description it is constant current, unusual for individual lights.
(though 12V, 1W would be about 80mA).
Series wiring the lights would require a much higher voltage and precise control and is not sensible.
I would normally expect you would need a constant voltage driver above 12W, but you miss out this detail in your post.

Can anyone help I am a 2nd yr qualified and have come across lighting problem, someone asked me to change furoresent lighting in kitchen to celling rose due to a leak in the shower upstairs. When I took the old fitting down which was full off water I was left with just a red and black no other wiring. I wired the black to the neutral side and red to the live. Light did not come on there is a break in the cpc would this make light not work, previous light did work. Sorry just a little lost thanks

OK I stand corrected, these lights are constant current light fittings and are connected in series.
The driver you need is a constant current 350mA driver with a rating of at least 10W.
I am surprised with the series connection, but they are much smaller decking lights than I had supposed.

You probably want to start your own thread about this.
If there has been a flooded fitting then you need to ensure that the wiring is dry before reconnecting, water often pools in the ceiling above, possibly in a junction box for the light.
IR tests should cover this, but a visual is helpful as well (perhaps a snake camera).
It is likely there is a connection for loop in shoved above the ceiling and you would need access to that to connect effectively, unsheathed cores should not be accessible.
Test the circuit before just connecting up and switching on.

Also, draw the lighting circuit out and have a think about your question of whether the CPC being broken would stop the light working. Daz
