Anyone fitted this? Is it user friendly? Seems. Good price but don't want to spec it if it's gonna be a pain to fit. Thanks

Good kit c**p install instructions - you'll need to do your own fixings pull out calcs, the French market gives a 100% premium FiT if you go roof integrated hence the popularity over there. In practice you'll either have to add noggins to fix to or thicker battens - 50mm and use spax stainless steel screws. Else you wont get the required pull out strength for uplift forces.

Use a good roofer and you may not need the top flashing, or can replace it with Perform - better than wakaflex / ubiflex available in more colours from stock from Deks (tell Josh I told you to call :) ) or give Andy a call at Sibert Solar - We use perform as a default now.

We are at a distinct advantage up here. Scottish Roof Construction uses sarking or close boarding, meaning batten and board give as near to 50mm as makes no difference.

Gordon. Are you using Perform at the top as well as the bottom?

We have a couple of slate / sarked roofs here and have also 'gotten away' with it there.

Yes - they have a great terracotta coloured one that goes well with plain / rosemary tiles
