....utterly paranoid over the godawful busbar system on many CU's these days?Fitted a Wylex Am3 board today,it was necessary to fit all the devices first and then slot the poxy busar into all the terminals making sure not to get the tabs in behind the clamp....which unless you are a contortionist you cant flaming well see. Resorted to a small mirror in the end,just as well as sure enough the offset tab for an RCD had gone in behind the clamp. Fire proof? They damn well need to be with that busbar system.
Would have use crabtree if CEF had had one in the configuration I needed.....a million times better than any other CU.
And another thing wylex,why does the poxy main switch slide all over the place untill you connect the tails,at which point it'll refuse to stay in the right position,usually meaning everything is about 5mm out of kilter when you try and fit the cover?Crabtree ones stay put,Wylex,Hager etc take note.
