Just finished some tray work on a roof for the AC plant.

I just can't get away from Tray work lol

We are running some tray for an outside facility here, hence why the steel building is covered with that shiny insulation.

The picture below is of a 450mm HD tray we are running for the AC package units and large 3 phase supplies for various machines that will be used.

The trunking above is for small power and lighting. it is 6 x 4. Because of the size of the building my light circuits are quite long, the longest is 52 metres, so we have wired that in 6mm

The sweep is power going into a control room. A lot of the machines are computer controlled and so is the package units so we have quite a panel going in there. Which is on order.

We have now been tasked by the client to run a DATA containment which we will start soon

I've posted this on because under neath the 450mm tray you can see a smaller 150mm Tray. That is for 50hz machines.

A lot of the equipment will come from the UK and be 50hz. The supply over here 380/220 60hz. I designed it to have 2 different containments. I know that there would be no influence on either supply, especially as we are using SWA cables, but I just think it makes the install easy to follow.

And yes I know there is a kink in the upper tray, that is plumbers for you. The copper pipe is still being installed and the brain dead plumbers ****ed it.

The final one is just a sweep going into another electrical room

will those cable ties hold up under fault conditions?:frown2:

They are not singles from what I can see, being multi core at that size they aren't big. So I'd imagine the ties will handle the fault current just fine.

Malcolm are you using those white ties outside in the sun? Usually they aren't UV stable and degrade pretty quickly. I'd imagine the sun being pretty fierce over there. It certainly was on my last trip.

We will lid it and then put the anti - bird wire above it. Even though there are going to be roller shutter doors, they will open quite a bit.
