just been into the local diy outfit and stumbled across VOLEX 17th CU with 10 Breakers 5p short of £60

even better if you have a discount card with 10% off...!!! my wholesaler is astonished! but not surprised! oh well!

not sure how long this deal has been on or will last for..!

I missed out on that deal the a week ago, was gonna leave one in the van at that price, they are now turning the trade entrance into a Trade Point for trade only to bring prices down apparently.

yeah my store is doing that as well...!! hmmmm...! i may go and collect one but i cant be bothered..! not sure when im going to use it as im litterally with no work!

In the Trade Point catalogue there is a British General 10 way split load board going for £42.55 ex-vat, not sure if its any good though.
Most of the book is same part numbers as electricfix/screwfix but with a 7 in front, been doing a bit of comparison today as I have nothing better to do!!

Yeah in the store, you have to give them a business card and letterhead to register to buy with them just to get a trade card thingy to stop the public buying through them.

Just been in my local Tescos, seems they have also launched their own brand of Value electrical items, saw this CU on the web site, £9.98 Fully loaded with chips!....

My local focus has CU's, MCB's, RCD's, RCBO's, T&E 1,1.5,2.5,6,10, Tails in 16 and 25mm, Earth in 6 and 10mm, sleeving etc, etc. right next to fuses, fuse wires and plugs, sockets With absolutely nothing to suggest anything is wrong with a housholder buying this and DIYing. Oh and its all at horrendously above the odds prices (ie £38 for RCBO's)

I must add the biggest rip off I suffer is bloomin Dennmans, at least you can see your getting robbed at the sheds!!!!

Fine tooth comb needed for Denmans.......Hide the odd really silly price amoungst a statement.......

never used dennys!! stick to my local Bemco and strangly enough i used electricfix trade counter on saturday!! (hidden at a screwfix near me! little door that says electricians and plumbers!! :)

Best deal at the moment I've found, sure someone gets it cheaper elsewhere but hey ho, can we have a sticky thread just for links for bargains and cheap deals.
