Just picked up 96 - 5amp single square edge sockets from S***ty Electrical factors.

The grand total of £8 + VAT ( wasn't a mistake )

Probably never use them but just had to buy em. What's your best purchases then?

Yeah just the outlets that is all, no plugs.
I actually need 5amp sockets for a job at the moment but wouldn't dare put that dross in.

They do have a CE mark suprisingly haha.

The only similar bargain I got, was ordering a 3 foot flory tube, and got thirty. Fitting packed up a week later. Anyone wants some tubes.

Seen quite a few architects speccing 5 amp sockets on new builds for dedicated standard lamps. Can't move for the amount of standard lamps I've seen for sale recently with 5 amp plugs on them...
