Hi to all, am replacing an old ceiling light with a flush light and just want to check a few things re the wiring.

Looking at L-R, am I correct here – earth (green), neutral (2 black wires), loop (3 red), switched live (single black)?

Secondly, looking at the wiring diagram for the flush light, do I have to link all the 3 red loop wires to go in the 4th block?

MTIA for any advice here.

have you got room in the new light to make the connections, and can you get all 3 cables through the cable entry, ensuring that the outer sheath is within the fitting?

Mmm, I don't like the look/quality of that fitting. The problem you have is pulling the three cables into the cable entry by the block connector as you will have to enlarge it and also using this entry will throw it off centre from the existing fitting. The centre hole does not look like a prescribed cable entry and if you used this the conductors will pass below the lamps.
