Probably all in a days work for a professional electrician but it had me scratching my head. I wanted to fit lighting into a room but there is an en suite on the floor above, as you can see I made a hole in the ceiling and worked from underneath.

What size cable is that? only it looks a bit bulky for lighting applications
 
Looks a bit of a sorry mess I have to say. Gonna need an MF JB above the ceiling, when there was no need to have any JB at all. Only 1 cable at the fan isolator, and good luck setting any kind of box into that mess of a hole for the fan isolator on what's now a skimmed wall.
