Would you recommend buying the 18th edition now. Is it allot different.
Provided it is verified by the original manufacturer as being suitable. Personally I never mix manufacturers.
If it is a requirement for the type of work you undertake you will need it sooner or later.

Not sure you have the luxury of not buying it............
It has not been type tested there for does not conform to specification .eg fitting . possible compromising of ip rating due to size etc

When I get mine we must compare notes then sham. What makes you say that sham?
I have never had a manufacturer giving me it in writing that it is ok . Had unofficial advice but never willing to put it in writing.
It is similar in the 17th Ed but reworked to take in the new Reg as in #18.
