It's not for carrying fault current it is to combat harmonics from VDSs etcDo they tell you how to ensure the braid can carry fault current.

Thats what your departures section is for on your certificate if you are the designer and you feel that is suitable - not based on price - cheap is not always best, then you can use it. Write down why you have taken decision for it use and be happy. As you say miles of it has been installed without issue enjoying its properites.
