Evening all.

I may have to fit a weatherproof junction box to a hollow, round metal pole.
The junction box will be around 20-30cm from the ground and 2 x SWA will enter from the bottom (CW20). 1 x rubber flex will leave through the back of the JB into the pole and up to the top where the light will be.

I will be using these JB's as I have used them many times and like them

I guess I have 2 questions:

1. How do I attach the above JB to the metal pole? Perhaps a bracket like this:

2. Are there any other suitable JB's that would work better for attaching to a round pole and would still take 2 x SWA from below and allow back entrance for the flex?

Thanks in advance.

I might tend to try for a CCTV mounting bracket,(the mounting holes will be wrong for any JB you try!) but most have a central hole for the flex to exit and steel cable ties which should support enough. Just make sure it is long enough for the size of pole. The TLC one for floodlights is a bit limited in size for this application.
