Hi,
I am looking to replace the normal light switch (on/off flick button) with this PIR switch (with On / Off / PIR / MIC sensor) as shown in picture E4 and need bit of help in confirming the wiring as this diagram has confused me.
New PIR sensor has only two slots for wire labelled as 'AC' and 'LAMP' as shown in Pic E2 and 3 but the diagram shows L and N wires as shown in pic E1.
Normal flick switch has only two wires too.. top part is permanent live and bottom part is live wire going to the lamp. Neutrals of both wires are connected together with other light switch wires.
So, as per my understanding, I should connect the permanent live wire from top part of switch to 'AC' labelled connection and bottom live cable (going to the light) to the 'Lamp' labelled connection.
Do you think this is as simple as that .. since the picture shows 'Neutral' with Load sign in it as shown in image E1.
