Morning Everyone,

Wonder if anyone can help advise.

I am soldering multiple out rated IP67 led strips. They will be going outside.

When I cut them, I need to seal them .

I believe I need a non conductive silicone sealent (clear). And also a sealent which won't damage or corrode the PCB.

Any ideas what's best to use, Googled it and seems hard to get a straight answer

Thanks
Chris

Thanks for the replies.
Glue gun, goes hard so can crack and harm the waterproof rating.

Glue filled heat shrink is ok, but can look untidy.

We have end caps which push on, and all we need to do is plug the hole before the end cap goes on with silicone glue. But concened it might conduct electric or corrode the PCB. Is this right?

Or are there different types of silicone which won't.
