Hi all - I've been given the task of PAT testing a new office that our company is setting up, and they have a number of Intel NUC's that use a 19v psu. Looking at what I'm going to be in for - I'm unsure as to how these items should be tested. They're a mix of a desktop and a laptop I guess - I've attached the pics they've sent me of any thing on the actual psu and computer. The desktops and other equipment I'm confident on how I go about the testing, but these items are new to me.

The PSU

Apparently the company has bought a Seaward Apollo 500+ so as far as equipment goes I'm probably over specced for the job (but nice that they didn't buy the cheapest PAT tester out there).

They're a compact PC, using technology you'd normally see in a laptop but, as westward10 says, you're over-thinking! Just test the PSU and don't worry what it's attached to.

Put the sticker on the power supply box, if it passes, of course. You’re only testing low voltage, nothing less than that.
If they’re new, nothing to worry about, but if they’ve been sitting around a while, check for bent pins or that nobody has robbed them of their plug top fuses

Or, if you're a typical PAT testing company that comes in and tests en-masse you put a sticker on the PSU, a sticker on the cable and a sticker on the PC module and claim 3 times the amount. Probably even a sticker on the desk. And anyone who stands still too long.
