I was called to a job as some entrance lighting wasn’t working. No power to the 6 lights all 250w ES Sons.

Can anyone tell me if the two white things are indeed photocells. I couldn’t find any others on the building and these had power out to them via the contactor. Covering them made no difference either. Haven’t seen these before as mainly do domestic but love to learn thought I’d ask any commercial specialists about it. Was also thinking it may be a timing issue via the bms system or the wems system they have. It’s a Matalan store if that helps.

What sort of client is it as WEMS are used in various types of installs for energy saving, like if no movement in an office it will turn the lights of, if their no one on an escalator it will shut it down and only power up when someone walks towards it.

In your case it could be used for signage as well,

Ahhhh I missed the bit where you posted entrance lighting.

Sensor could have failed, not sure if you can short it out at the controller end to mimic the sensor sensing that it is dark outside.

I had a quick look at their website, not sure if they are WEM sensor, maybe ping them an email to check.
