Can anyone tell by just looking what size cable this is ? It’s not written on the grey outer armour

Should give you a good idea of what size cable you have.

Then again yours is stranded... :(
 
I’d say 6mm with a 2.5mm cpc at a total guess

prfobably imperial 7/.044 or maybe 7/.052
Or 7/036, with a 1/044 cpc,

Don't think it is, because it says BASEC down the side and they didn't exist until after metric cables came in.

The other possibility is 4mm^2 with a 1.5mm^2 cpc.

Wow... You zoomed in to see that Lucien (BASEC). I could just make it out after max zoom!
