[ElectriciansForums.net] Little Things Done Well

Just remember the smaller it is the less chance of non-conformances.

PA Testing is so boring the only failure I've had is this plug top that was poorly wired and flex not secured.

Should have done a video to go with it, YouTube it and make millions of £££s.

terrible. the flex should have been twisted so that the N (blue) was on the left instead of on top of the L (brown).:eek::eek:

What do they expect for £1.20 per item, the moon on a stick?

Oh dear, you've said PAT - Pete999 won't be happy :):)
At least it was only "PA Testing" and not "PAT Testing" that would've sent him to an early(ish) grave.

And where's the plug top? :D:D
? It's supposed to have a top, wondered why i kept getting a jolt every time i plugged it in.

I’m not a big fan of ferrules in plug tops

Just my opinion
That's ok I put them in the plug bottom, or is it plug top bottom.

Snigger.....plug bottom....snigger

I was once on a small domestic site where
A builder supplied the decorators with a 240v real lead of which the plug top had no top.
The painter plugged it straight in getting a wicked shock , then his mate tried to unplug it while it was still live getting himself a wicked bolt...

I kid you not , this is absolutely true

Soon as I saw what had happened I cut the plug top straight off
