Fault in lighting circuit, started poking about in the loft in the dark and managed to find it....:tearsofjoy:....

Ohh nasty did you manage to deal with them? traps ain much use I take warfarin but you aint avin any I need it, council or local pest control is the best option. sorry to be flippant Mate, Rats is bad news.
They reckon they’ve had all that done, traps poison etc....trouble is terraced houses it’s pointless doing one and not the rest....the pictures are just a small amount of the damage, I’ve got to quote them to run all the cables in the loft in trunking/conduit

I would add though that a typical good TT rod of 100 ohms only needs 3V to have 30mA flowing and so trip an RCD, you might find that sort of N-E...
