I'm renovating my garage and started to make a new less wide soffit. This crazy looking conduit (see pictures) is in the way so I need to reroute it. The conduit contains 4 gauge cable used for grounding that goes from the Electrical Panel to the water main.

Can I either replace that wire or splice it somewhere in between (in an accessible junction box) and complete the grounding circuit?

Airrjp23 my advice to you is take that wire out of that pipe and running the wire from point A to point B and serif it’s long enough, if it’s perfectly legal to splice the cable and it’s not required to run it in conduit since it’s an binding issue. Good luck
