Going to be doing some alcove lighting for a condo building i am doing and also wanting to take a stab at making a linear LED kitchen island pendants. the prices on some of these fixtures are insane. $2000 for that light ???

Any leads on where to get some quality led strips, extrusions, drivers and accessories for a reasonable price?

What about contacting your local electrical parts house.

Most local contractors get a discount, and can help decide what fixtures would work better for your application.

These kind of lighting fixture can never be cheap in any place and any country, cause it is called bespoken business, but anyhow, $2000usd is a crazy price which is beyond my imagination.
If only for 1pcs, just buy from the local electrical people. If more quantities, source from the manufacturers directly.

Therein lies the problem. I see no merit in further circular debate, so will bow out of this discussion.
