My led wall light has 3 wires, I was expecting just live and neutral?

I have a live, neutral and another connection with both live and neutral.

Trying to connect to n and l wires coming out the wall?

I hope these earths there as well as live and neutrals...

Sounds like someone tried to loop in at a wall light like they do at ceiling rises....

This could be it .Best way is to check for live feed and see if the extra cable is to another sconce light etc etc

O jesus .....Its friday for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Connect the wires from the wall into the terminal block marked L/N and with luck earth . dont worry about the rest

See, pictures always help.

you need to use the L and N on the left of the picture.
However, the sticker on the fitting shows this as “double insulated” (square inside a square) but as it is, it’s NOT double insulated and somehow needs to be earthed.
