Does Tesla Power Wall receive DC from the panels?

Hi,
Does the Tesla Power Wall receive DC from the solar panels?
Or does the solar panels' DC get converter to AC by an inverter on the roof, and then the AC goes to the Tesla Power Wall?

I believe the Powerwall is considered an 'AC battery' and solar would come from the AC invertor to the powerwall.

Thanks, its strange that the Tesla power wall insists on the customer buying their own solar inverter, because this means that the customer then has to know how to spec that up.
The attached pic shows the solar inverter being right by the Tesla Power wall...which means the DC current of some 80A getting brought all the way down from the roof, to the consumer unit...seems very odd?

They seem to offer different options for the US market (possibly also Australia), with inverters being included dependant upon application.

It's not something I know much about, but would suggest reading information aimed at different markets to gain an understanding of what they offer in different regions.

Tesla designed their battery to be system agnostic, it can work with any inverter (or none, as just a quasi-UPS). If Tesla supplies an inverter, it becomes their problem.
Very unlikely to be 80A coming down. 360W solar panels in a series string usually have a max current of <10A, so even two parallel strings will only send 20A of DC to the inverter.
