Are they being taken off the shelfs? My parents still have the old R80 downlights in their house , good job they purchased 4 boxes of R80 bulbs from the local wholesalers the other month. 16 pence a bulb
I got LED replacements, though maybe not quite full size (R63?) that do a good enough job.My parents still have the old R80 downlights in their house , good job they purchased 4 boxes of R80 bulbs from the local wholesalers the other month. 16 pence a bulb
That is like the joke about asking the village idiot for instructions and, after some thinking, he says "Well, if I were you, I wouldn't be starting from here".What we actually need is a re-structure of lighting circuits to run at say 24 or 48V DC, with HF PWM dimmers as standard instead of 50Hz.
I suppose my stash of about 50 halogen GU10s is now worth considerably more than before...
Where did u get all themWant to add several thousand 30W MR16s to that stash?
Where did u get all them

I've only got the one gas light, the rest are paraffin.thought yous was still on gas lighting down in Devon.
There is more demand now than ever I'd say. Plenty of jobs in shops I go to require them and they are getting hard to find.Leftovers from a sizeable clearance a few years back. They still sell well enough, but MR16s were never going to move as quickly as more common lamps.
