Went to replace a cooker hood yesterday and found this whilst looking for the cooker hood isolator

This had been left like this - and they had a certificate

The one below was from a house where the agent paid for a refurb and they left a unit with tape instead of blanks

A friend came across this earlier - installed for two car chargers apparently.
Cable used was 2 x 6mm T&E
They could argue it’s in an enclosure that can only be opened by a key. If you’re referring to basic insulation…

Or is it the fact there’s no ocpd feeding the 6mm
 
seen much worse. e.g. i lostout on a EICR as agent insisted in napit. napit bloke gave it a couple of C2 s. I get called in by landlord for remedials. took cover off old wylex board (3036) and Lin to top of isolator was actually sparking . burnt tail went back 2 ". dipstick had not even noticed this.

proteus RCBOs??? ain't nobody got standards anymore?
 
I love my Proteus spilt load board I have at home , it was the original one the house was built with , some wally (i think the kitchen re fitters) added a hager mcb in it thou which spoils the asthetics

God forbid you have mixed brands, could explode at any stage now. Probably even accelerate global warming
