I have a 1960 budwieser clydesdale rotating beer sign - how do run the wires so they do not wrap round the post when rotating (motor & light operate)

If it’s designed originally to rotate and light up, there must be something already there that allows it to happen. Usually sprung pin contacts running along a metal track.

Would it be low voltage from 1960? Possibly.

Perhaps the rotating part had a battery supply inside it for the light, and the rotation was from a different supply?

Could you please send pictures so we can help
Sorry for the delay. i have attached 2 jpeg files for you. Appreciate your help.

Dennis...

Ah… ok. I thought the light was actually in the rotating part, but it seems to be a circular fluorescent, with a motor in the middle turning the display. The light simply shines through it.

I was thinking the same as you. But I think you're right - it's simpler than we thought.
