Very Neat

I cleaned all my gear the other day with fairy liquid to scrub up all the grubby handles and put wd40 on all the cutters & pliers to make nice and loose again

I even cleared out my garage the other day and found some stuff I forget I even had

That s more stuff going up for sale then…

SO good to clean out the toolbags and the tools themselves! Very cathartic!
Always a great job in this Spring sunshine...just clean everything and find stuff you had forgotten about!
Yesterday, a pal called round and said "hey, I saw this and thought of you!" and gave me a gift of those Knipex 7-in-1 installation pliers...honestly, he is non-practical, but a bit DIY, and I was overjoyed!
I used them today to install some CAT6 cable, and a 1mm feed to some lights, and they were really handy. My CK cutters/strippers are still my go-to, but these pliers are so neat! The cable shears are brilliant, and the strippers work well too.
Anyway, I also spent a couple of hours tidying up my tool bags, and it's amazing what you find in the deepest, darkest recesses...

I wd40 a pair of side cutters have had them for 40 years, just dont use them because of their age am sentimental about them, Stupid init

gotsimilar, but a Tough Built version. being a lazy sod, so much easierto access frequently used tools without pulling zips on Veto bag.

as @Dustydazzler said, very neat...... for about 3 days 😄

I tidied the van the other day. Everything out, all kit cleaned and restocked. Van hoovered out. It looked great. 1 week later its a bloody shambles again!🤨

Same as mine.... and why is the hoover always on the bottom of the pile?

I have a load of the euroboxes to keep bits and pieces in, but want ad hoc shelving made to slide them into.
But on the other hand, fixed shelves take up too much room if i need the van to carry anything else.

got to keep tools clean or peeps may think you are a slapper ( plasterer or painter), or worse (wet-pants).
