Good Evening Everyone

Was looking to replace both my old Danfoss mechanical thermostats with a smart thermostat. Was wondering if anyone had recommendations for the following set-up (circuit is 240v).

There are 2 solenoids, one for upstairs and one for downstairs, and a thermostat each for them as well.

It seems there are less options for smart thermostats which are compatible with this wiring setup

Those wires are live and switched live not live and neutral. Most 'smart' thermostats will wire into the rectangular junction box, or replace the programmer, rather than connect in place of the room thermostat. Was there a model you had in mind?

Smart thermostats all generally do the same thing, it comes down to personal choice and which brand you've already bought in to, if any.

Personally I favour the Nest thermostat because I've fitted a fair number of them and had minimal problems.

Ah ok, makes sense now, thanks for that. The wires from both the downstairs and upstairs thermostats are 2 of the T&E wires pictured above.

I have most of the house set up with alexa compatible devices, but to be honest I'm happy with just a basic thermostat which I can change remotely via my phone. I assumed the nest thermostat wouldn't work due to the 230v?
