During EICR found this at wall lights, would you code this, these lights did not offer a great termination option[ElectriciansForums.net] Wall light connections any code
 
Don’t think I would even note it, when the light is against the wall, the internal cores are not exposed until inside the fitting.
 
class II fitting? Why does the cpc not enter the fitting?

These are the lights awful to connect… onto a plastic lamp holder fixed onto the fitting..cpc bent over & not going into fitting…they are Class II …most Probably just a note on the EICR just saying not ideal
 
Just open at top? Not behind glass?

So basic insulation not within an enclosure?

Rubbish design, but somehow it passes

Great for collecting dead bluebottles.

Yea open design we wouldn’t connect this… these days..but like all says the insulation unsheathed is behind hidden by the fitting
