Hi all,
I've installed a Tesla Gen 3 wall charger supplied by my client.
For your information, the place that I installed is in a block of flat basement where the Meter room is.
After some researching, I've fitted a Proteus board fitted with SPD and PEN fault detection device.
All dead test result is fine. Ze and PFC at the board is fine as well.
Testing with the ev tester, everything goes fine until RCD testing with the tethered socket.
I've set the pp state at 32amp and CP state knob at C, once the mft goes to RCD testing stage, it shows a reading for the dc mA and the charger flashing red light and no power at the tethered lead. The strange thing is the RCD at the board didn't trip.
I've noticed at the app it said that the Ground Fault interrupter is enable, will this affecting the RCD?
I want to know is there any thing that I've done wrong or missed?
Thanks for all the help.

How are you connecting the mft to the tethered socket? Could you do an rcd ramp test at the ccu whilst having the tethered socket plugged into car or even a dummy resitive load?

Reason I say this is the charger likely has some logic and inductive current sense which even tho is getting CP and Pp may not be outputting any current to and open socket, We test the EV chargers at my firm with resistive load banks.

Maybe someone more experienced with tesla chargers will offer some insight..
