Morning everyone
I’ve recently bought a fluke 1662 as my megger 1741 broke on a site last week.
Does the fluke have the same capability as the megger or do you just have to take the lead resistance off after the test ?

It's been almost 2 decades since I had a tester where you couldn't null the leads.
It's been a while since I've touched a Fluke but from memory, press and hold F2 ?
Also from memory, you have to null each range / test type separately.

Yes Tim using F2 nulls the leads but I’m not sure if the leads stay zeroed when you change the test to get your live test results

My memory is that it remembers a different null offset for each test range separately, so continuity, IR and loop all need setting at least once.
I’m fairly sure the manual for that one is available online which should confirm. i never owned a Fluke myself but my old boss had one that I used when he was fed up with testing!
EDIT I didn’t mean IR, but do remember there are at least 3 null offsets retained. Maybe there are different continuity ranges or something.

Here you are: I wasn't far off!
