I told him I'd have accepted a cable tie and i absolutely would have but I got the most beautiful ring that I can hardly stop staring at.Congratulations on your engagement.
hope you got a nice ring, not a 20mm lock nut!!

Thank you James your recommended tool bag went down well. I don't think it was what convinced him but it may have aided the decision . It certainly didn't hurt it lol.
Lol. I think we are likely to elope tbf. Weddings are too much drama and stress for either of us.You do know you now have to invite all of us to the reception….
I love cute stuff like that. Keep it up, us ladies love it.I made by GF a keyring using a 20mm banjo with a penny soldered into the hole, how romantic is that !!
Congrats BTW
cheers

Wish my missus would have said that years ago, would have saved a fortune.Keep it up, us ladies love it.
Well hes lucky I guess that I have a passionate disgust for Diamonds and don't like things that are too popular. So a stone 1000 times rarer than diamonds but comparably more cost effective is perfect for me. But I would have been happy with a cable tie.Wish my missus would have said that years ago, would have saved a fortune.
No it's Tanzanite. It changes colour from a deep blue Violet to purple to a teal kinda colour depending on the light. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Came from a shop 50m from where we 1st met and happens to be his birthstone (we didn't know that initially).Gorgeous, Amethyst by any chance?
So you wouldn’t actually want to swap it for a cable tie then, i have an unopened packWell hes lucky I guess that I have a passionate disgust for Diamonds and don't like things that are too popular. I can't stop staring at this beauty though.
Oh I'm not low maintenance, not in the slightest . But I do not value things just for the cost someone else assigned to them. What I do value is sentiment and effort. For example, our wedding bands, we are having made with inlays of sand from a beach that is special to us.So you wouldn’t actually want to swap it for a cable tie then, i have an unopened pack
My missus started off with “0h I’m very low maintenance”.
Turns out years later that she was comparing me to bill gates
You still owe me alimony. Cough up. I've got a wedding to pay forAha! Now I know who you are! I really wish I hadn't divorced you! If only you had said...
LOL!
