What's the thinking behind downlights with integrated pir

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me if there's a few downlights you would fit a separate pir ?

Might be useful in a small toilet or walk in pantry etc - the sort of places you'd fit a single light and separate pir.

Made me think of that other thread.
