After or before your install 🤣🤣🤣
Hey… I resemble that remark!

Most of the ones I find are in a tiny space either above the front door…. Under the stairs… or my most recent find… above the staircase… so you need wonky legged steps and a steady balance just to reach it…

Reminds me of an old Mike Harding line where he says he woke with a stiff neck after sleeping near an open French widow 😀
I thought that’s what happens if you couldn’t swallow a ------ pill properly and it gets stuck in your throat.

What the heck is the problem with the V word?

It’s a prescription medicine…. Maybe because it’s a trade name?

Next thing, you’ll be saying we can’t use -----, -------- and ------- In our messages.

😱 :rolleyes::D

The answer to almost zero IR lies within. I love the brick.

I'm also quietly proud of my assistant, 3rd year in college, and let loose solo on this unoccupied property. He's traced the problem down to this section and worked out which bit of floor to dig up all on his own.
We're now up to 8Mohms from 0.03Mohms. He's clipping it all up off the floor now, poor chap!
I reckon he deserves a beer or two later.

Looks a bit damp down there. 😉
It does. Any sign of air vents that might be blocked?
I've traced loads of cases of poor IR down to these junction boxes. Usually down to them being full of damp cobwebs, up on a beam in some agricultural outbuilding.
Quick cure was to clean it out and to pack it full of a red plasticine like compound, whose name escapes me. 'R' something, IIRC.

They will all be just to short to reach the lugs on the back box !
You noticed that too?

Over the last ten years or so, the supplied screws are getting just a little bit shorter… on both switches and sockets?

I suppose the amount of metal saved across all the accessories ever produced could be huge….

Then blow all that savings by adding half a dozen extra screws into Freddo’s new switch.
