Hi, this Wylex NHXSBS1BO6 has failed and I'll get a new one but I don't know if you see that the live is the hole at the back and the connection is really deep! Seems a stupid design.

Also when fully tightened these RCBOs have a small gap?

They just seem garbage to me.

Can I use another brand and anyone recommend anything?

Yes, it has a plastic clip bit at the top (cable end) which you can pop out with a medium flat screwdriver to get it off the DIN rail.
Nope, it is not!
This shows the bottom, with the grey plastic sprung retainer on the supply busbar side.

This shows it in the "retained" position:

And this shows it in the "opened" position:

You pop the grey bit away from the body and it springs back.

The Wylex CUs I have used only have half a DIN rail so this clip is not needed, it is held in place by the busbar clamp screw. You would only need to use this clip with a full DIN rail if using it in some small DIN box, etc.

That's what I'm thinking after looking closer the buzbar won't fit.

Honestly I don't like this RCBO - like I say how deep the live connection is - really you need to take the whole thing out to check it has a nice connection etc. And the location and position of the board etc that's not the easiest thing to do.

I'm pretty sure I've seen other RCBOs that would fit but I know people always say stick to the same brand etc

If the CU has one of the "odd" busbars with fingers, etc, instead of a simple tongue then it is very unlikely others will fit. For a repair if the correct model is available there is no real reason to look for others. If fitting a new CU then probably you already have a preferred choice of make/model.
