Discuss a good quality LockOut /Tagout kit? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net
CHeers mate! I was looking fro a small portable kit for domestic stuff.Hi mate. Don’t know whether you’re after a portable or fixed LOTO Kit but we use this one in our factory. Got it from Lockout Tagout Safety Ltd | No. 1 Lock and Tag Safety Specialist - http://www.lockout-tagout.co.uk/
(Martindale FCU lock out & plug lock out we added ourselves)
These are a really comprehensive kit and worth the money for the variety and quantity of devices they cover. They will do almost everything you will come across as an electrician!
Draper Electricians Lockout Kit 70940 | DIY at B&Q
An essential safety lockout kit designed for all electrical and general maintenance applications. Ensures health and safety is adhered to in the workplace. Kit Supplied in sturdy EVA case.www.diy.com
Or cheap kit from screwfix, isn't bad and will cover most domestic installs.
Couldn't agree more they are silly money, seems to be the way with safety equipment!Almost every lock out kit is ridiculously overpriced in terms of their content. That one from B&Q is comparatively resonable and a more comprehensive kit than most others around that its price point.
I've built up a range of lock offs to fit pretty much everything from single module domestic up to MCCBs, although there's always a breaker for which I have nothing. Building up a good kit on the cheap has taken years of picking up ebay bargains and means a large number of lock offs for very small circuit breakers.
Thank you mate! These are a really comprehensive kit and worth the money for the variety and quantity of devices they cover. They will do almost everything you will come across as an electrician!
