Hi everyone,
I recently completed a domestic EICR and came across something unusual. There’s a 10mm² twin and earth cable directly connected to the 100A cut-out fuse at the service head. The cable is concealed within the client’s wall and reappears next to the consumer unit, where it connects to a feeding cable that supplies the neighboring property.
After further investigation, I discovered that this cable is supplying power to the off-license shop next door and two flats above it.
Would you classify this as a C2? I’d appreciate your thoughts on this situation.
