Hi all .
Any advice on best pound for pound digital clamp meter that will do both ac and dc to two decimal places . Fluke are too, big big pricey . Many thanks

Check the specs first as some of the cheap ones only do AC current :(

I’ve also got an Ethos AC/DC clamp amongst some others but the thing that goes everywhere with me is a DiLog soft loop meter - so for those that don’t know instead of a sprung pincer method, it’s basically a calibrated wire that you detach, loop around the subject and plug back in again. It means you can test a whole bundle of singles in one go for load, imbalance and leakage. Mine’s rated to 6000A and is accurate down to about 5mA, fits in a back pocket.
