Hi all any help is much appriciated.

Have been asked to do some work in these showerooms in a hostel. Now from my understanding these were originally kitchens that have been converted. Now they require a new fan as the old one stopped working ages ago. As you can see from the pictures the DB is within the showeroom and is within zone 2 ( although behind cabnet) problem being the DB in the showeroom. The board is an old one and the installation utiliizes the steel conduit for cpc. I am not keen on the idea of the Db in the showeroom and have spoke to the manager about this, there is no chance of the room being changed back to a kitchen as there is only one other shower on the block. They are willing to board up the entry to the shower and move it to the other side( no zone problem) .But am still not keen on the idea what do you think? Tony it is not my intention to waste peoples time. I look at the posts when i get notifications through my email, and got none after my last post on the subject hence why i started it again. Have now found the original post by looking through the pages in this section( electrical theories) so will start on that again. I listen to everything people reply with and take it onboard as every day is a school day , and we are all on a learning curve. We all interpet BS7671 in different ways sometimes.
