hi all i have just moved into a new house and i saw a box in the corner about 9 foot up the wall i opened it and this is what i saw it looks like a really old fuse board it is not in service we have a new splitboard. i was just wondering if any one new any thing about the history like how old it is and stuff like that as i have never seen any thing like this before

That is a very old fuse board, 1930's or even before!! A 3 circuit board fused in both live and neutral.....

Whats the manufacturers name on the porcelain fuse carriers?? Never seen that design before myself!! lol!!

It looks like a Davenport board, an American company that ceased trading in 1937 as result of the great depression. As others have said likely to be fused in both L & N as that was the practice at the time. Definitely one for the electrical museum.
