is there any regulations about socke outlets under radiators

any1 know i cant see anything my mates just rente a ofice under it has sockets under the rads , weii i think they some type of heating with a blower , they are monyed abou 3 inch below in trunking plastic, and are supplied by a 30ma rcbo
 
that what i was thinking like said probly not the best practice but its only wy of getting sockets to that point ,aslong as its protected with 30ma 32 a should be ok
 
Nothing wrong regarding reqs but not ideal saying that was doing some testing last week and an entire office block had dado trunking just above rads in every office on all floors
 
so with the ammount of views this posts had, is this another grey arera not best practice but not bad practice

It doesnt matter when carrying out electrical installation work....but it does if you ask a question.

It helps when writing out reports to customers, recommendations after testing etc.

But any way, back to your question.

This one falls under the umbrella of "manufactures instructions" and what temperature that particular appliance can tolerate whilst in use.

It certainly does with my customers! If they can't understand or read reports or maintenance records then they will certainly take their business elsewhere. There is a reason why there are standards in grammar and language and spelling.... It's so that everyone else understands what the hell you are on about!
If I seriously tendered for work in the mangled manner that was posted here I wouldn't be working as business would have dried up long ago.

As to the original question:- It's not against any Regs, just not considered very good practice! A bit like the text speak!
 
Chopper, would you write an estimate or report in TXT? The client would cosine it to the bin after trying to read the first sentence.

We get some questions that are at times quite technical, trying to sort out grammar adds to the problem.

OK I went over the top but I did it to prove a point. We are supposed to be professional, lets at least try to act like it.

This isn’t the only board I’m on, try sorting out Chinese or Pakistani TXT, it’s a mind bender.

In those situations ^^^ its obviously the plumbers fault cos the socket would have been there first.
Just one of a million dumb things you see in the domestic game lol.

, haha , are some of you lot comedians if not I think you need to reconsider a career change, and in future I will try and spell correctly but I didn’t realise this would be such a issue, get a grip, gone a bit far
